One of my favorite fall events happens just outside of Detroit , in Ferndale. DIY street fair is a two day festival with over 150 artsy vendors, live music, food trucks and beer tents that take over the streets of downtown. My husband went with me and we spent all of Sunday walking around. I have been part of the DIY scene here for several years, so really it was a day to visit with friends and check out what new items they are debuting. I also love coming across new artists
The temperature dropped this week so we seized the opportunity to visit a local cider mill.
